tGELF
Vivek High School has been proudly associated with the Global Education's Leadership Foundation (tGELF) since 2008, an initiative of the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation. tGELF’s mission is to cultivate young ethical leaders who will become agents of change in their communities and beyond.
Our school offers a comprehensive Life Skills & Leadership Programme (LSLP) with a unique, value-based curriculum. This programme focuses on the four pillars: leadership skills, ethics, altruism, and decisiveness. Through the LSLP, students are encouraged to explore their leadership potential through a combination of creative experiences and hands-on learning.
Students at Vivek High School are also given opportunities to participate in both national and international competitions such as the Youth Leader Competition, Reel to Real, and Art for Voice. These platforms allow students to showcase their skills, talents, and innovative ideas. Additionally, the school is actively involved in the tGELF Lead India JA Company Programme, where students gain insights into entrepreneurship. Workshops focus on essential skills such as production, sales, marketing, and the practical aspects of running a successful business.
The tGELF programme extends across 3,000 schools in 14 countries and 16 states in India. For students in Grades 7 to 12, the SKILLD Curriculum (Skilling and Knowhow Initiative for Lifelong Leadership Development) equips them with the necessary tools to excel as future leaders. The curriculum emphasises leadership, knowledge, teamwork, effective communication, critical thinking, and conflict resolution.
At Vivek High, we are committed to shaping the ethical leaders of tomorrow through dynamic educational opportunities and immersive experiences that foster lifelong leadership skills.
