The Vivek High School library is more than just a repository of books, it is an active learning and resource center for staff and students. The collection of books is large and varied. The quality of books and the rich variety of text available is the hallmark of the library. Spacious, comfortable and tranquil, the environment is that which encourages and stimulates reading and research interests. The library has over five thousand books covering literature, science, history, technology, arts, spirituality, self-help and reference material. The library caters to the diverse interest and academic needs of the users. It subscribes to several newsletters, periodicals, magazines and newspapers. It subscribes to newspapers to ensure that students remain updated with current affairs, global trends and subject-specific knowledge. It is equipped with audio visual equipment and a collection of compact discs, movies, documentaries and slides. Students are often shown knowledge-based videos related to various subjects. This helps break the monotony of reading, enriches classroom learning and allows children to visualise and connect concepts more deeply.
