MISSION AND VISION

Vivek High School, Mohali endeavours to create a community of 21st century learners through a stimulating and holistic learning environment, where students are encouraged to develop open-mindedness, spirit of enquiry, creative and critical-thinking skills, and self and social responsibility. The school collaborates with the community to instil in students, generosity of spirit, and integrity in thoughts, words and actions. At Vivek, to be truly educated is to have a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

The school’s name is inspired by a house of the renowned ancient Buddhist University at Nalanda, a name that signifies discernment, judgement and enlightenment. For more than two decades, the school has progressively marched forward with undaunted will in the field of education. Amidst our never ending journey, we have strengthened characters, ignited minds, and glorified many a future by imparting knowledge and virtue to raise Vivekites above the ordinary.

The aim of Vivek High School, Mohali is to provide quality education to children. The early years of the child’s schooling are of utmost significance as these are the foundation for their future growth and development. 

Established in April, 2007 for students in the age group of 2.5 to 16 years (Toddlers to Class 10) the school is affiliated to AMI (Association Montessori Internationale, The Netherlands) and the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, New Delhi. In addition to academics, we aim is to nurture a genuine interest in learning, a healthy curiosity and love for books along with inculcating sound study habits. Special care is taken to emphasise discipline, so that it becomes their way of life. We also strive to foster an appreciation for the rich cultural ethos of our country. Specialised instruction in advanced subjects is provided to the students by experienced and qualified faculty. The curriculum at Vivek High School reflects its core philosophy and ethos with strong focus on continuous improvement rather than merely the achievements of set standards. The wide range of school activities encourage holistic development, shaping character, creativity, and building skills that will benefit students in every stage of life, regardless of the fields they choose.
